[QUOTE="SPLAudioHz, post: 7254292, member: 625822"] Okay Guys, I am going for an SQ build. This thread will be added to for a very long time, but it is a single thread. Mods will appreciate that. Any advise is appreciated as well. System Plan: Boston Neo type M ambient tweets for center channel Focal Utopia Be 3-way components for front stage (woofers in doors mid and tweet in fabbed kick) Morel EM428 4" midrange for the rear fill Focal Ultimo 12" down fire in trunk suspended enclosure I began with gutting the whole car (with the exception of the dash) and adding approx 25-35% 80 mil Fat Mat per surface area. Basically I filled all of the hollow cavities with a two part closed cell foam, this is the same foam that is used in sound proof rooms in sound studios, and in hearing testing booths. MLV with with 3/8" CCF was applied over the floors, doors and roof. The very large cavities were filled with R-19 fiberglass insulation. All products were weighed before install. less than 100 lbs of material was installed and total cost was less than 200.00.
