Message: <blockquote data-quote="thcheeet" data-source="post: 372269" data-attributes="member: 552246">thanks but no thanks... i found how to remove the unit on my own... i removed the panel below the unit (where the cigarette lighter and ashtray are) and removed the screws from below the cage, then simply slid the thing out from below.removing the airconditioning controls would be troublesome and unnecessary. not to mention the risk of cracking the panel (it doesnt exaclty just pop off like a door panel)... forbidden was right, its better to take time and do it right than damage your car.and yes, this is my first install. ive got to learn sometime... you, turbo328, were once as ignorant as myself im sure. maybe you even figured it out yourself like i did...but at least i didnt practically take out the whole dash to remove the air conditioning......no one likes toughass</blockquote>
