8in sub for truck

I got a truck box, its like 5 1/2 depth, do you guys recomend any subs for around 150ish for 2? I got a nice amp, i just need some decent bass and sound quality, the 8s have to be somewhat shallow, thanks in advance.

I had a pair of rex8 " subs in a sealed box - powered them with 320w. did not satify me

but i expect alot

so they might work ok enough for you - they aint too deep I remember... maby

or you could make mdf rings to mount to your box to add height so the sub motors dont bottom out in the box.

or maby you could get some woofs that will play low

but also re enforce the mid bass / and mid range also

T3 Audio T200-8s 8" Single 4 Ohm 400 Watt Subwoofer

I just picked up of pair of these to use as midbass duty.

I built a box of 0.5 cubit feet to test one in with only 125watts.

It's a clean sounding sub. yes i was very surprised tat T3 Audio is known for there SPL.

I didnt think they could make a SQL sub.

When i tested this sub i use Hip-hop, Jazz, Rock, & Techno.

I do have this weird Bass tone CD that a friend gave to me.

This little sub is a beast, the RMS is 200- peak 400 @ 4ohms.

One thing i love about this sub it didnt distort, it had clean tight bass, & it got loud off of 125rms.

I had it bandpassed at 150 lowpass-50highpass, I was told it can go down to 35hz.

I cant wait to built my kick pods or i'm thinking of placing them in a tube under the passenger glove box.

you donrt like them you can return them for your money back.

At $39 a sub this is probably the best 8inch sub i've bought.

They are about release 2 other 8 inch subs that will beable to take more power .
