I got my DSO Nano in the mail today. Finally So i did some testing on my 80prs and the c-dsp. I have my mid channel sending a full range single from the 80prs to the C-dsp. All boost was introduced through the 16 band Eq. tested freq were 100hz 0db tone 1000hz 0db tone 10khz 0db tone 62/62 volume. flat eq no clipping any freq 100hz tone. 80hz +1db 125hz +1db boost. clipping at 62 volume 100hz 80hz +1db 125hz +1db no clipping at 61 volume 100hz 80hz +6db 125hz +6db 54 no clipping(55 had clipping) 1000hz flat no clipping 62 volume. 1000hz 800 +1db boost 1250 +1db boost clipping at 62 volume. 1000hz 800 +6db boost 1250 +6db boost no clipping at 54 volume(clipping at 55) same for 10khz ^^^ 80prs output voltage Volume voltage 62 4.72v 61 3.76v 60 2.96v Drops off rapidly after 57 or so. C-dsp right side and left side input. both had identical results. "boost" was introduced on C-dsp input volume 100 hz tone 1.88volts at +1db boost 1.76v at 0db 100hz test tone. 2volts at 2db boost clipping 1.96v at 1.5db boost soft clip I did not look at voltages for 1 and 10khz but clipping was at the same points. So, the 80Prs has a clean output all the way through its volume knob even to max. The C-dsp input can take about 3.8 volts(61/62 on 80prs) of input before clipping. It can put out around 1.88volts at +1db boost on input volume knob. Any more boost will result in a clipped signal.
