This generalization probably comes from the fact that the "most known" dd subs are the 9500 and 9900 series. which are admittedly more spl oriented subs. The truth is that dd subs are all extremely well built in the usa with us manufactured parts. They are one of the best in terms of quality and performance. The 1008's are no different. In my opinion they are bargains for the price, these little things can sound great and bump like crazy for their size. Personally i think i'll go with the 1008 instead of the rli/tc1000 because of the cheaper price and hopefully equal or better performance.</p></blockquote><p></p>
