JL is pretty decent but for me I like the 1508s, Its just so satisfying to see two 8s get louder than your average 10s and 12s. I get lost in the fact that not everyone wants the loudest, sorry for not taking your choice of sq into factor. I do think those 1508s sound great but it is possible that the JL sound better, especially considering everyone listens to different types of music.
