I'm trying to decide between amp setups. I want to bi-amp a set of Rainbow Germs 6.5". My question is how much of a difference, if any, would I notice if: 1. Sundown SAX-100.4 = 100W x 4 2. DLS RA40 = 75Wx4 From what I've read the DLS amps are putting out right at their rated rms per channel. I've also read that the Sundown amps maybe putting out a little over rated rms per channel. I know both amps are good quality and there is a roughly $100-$150 price difference if purchased new. Another question is why would bi-amping a speaker at a lower power produce better sound than bridging channels for more power? Hope that makes sense.
