There's really no reason to do the custom work to fit 6.5" speakers unless there is a certain type that you would much rather choose from.To be quite honest, if you aren't amping them, anything other than bottom-line speakers will do. If you don't plan to amplify them, either stick with your stock speakers or just get some cheap replacements, because you won't notice much of a difference either way.</blockquote>
