It's been way too long to remember the details, I have not owned car audio stores since 2001, but I remember seeing a max rating of say.... 250 watts on a sub and we doubled it.I can't speak for pro DB drags, but for the street events the guys seem to be running boxes tuned around 50 hz and that's WAY too low for DB drag IMO.
