I guess I really never knew the different between ported and sealed. Hispls I'm down in brunswick. As far as c list I never have found that great of stuff in Maine plus he wants this started in like 2 weeks. So what I have ok with him so far is the 2 4 inch and the 2 6x9 I can get on ebay for a total of $85 and the are rockford fosgate. So after that I'm at $400 left for two subs an amp and wire kit.

[QUOTE="ff_emt2008, post: 8192580, member: 658655"] Ok so the head is after market I can't remember the brand but it has front and rear pre amp and subwoofer so I know the head will work and he got ripped off having it installed so he does want to spend more money on a new head unit. The box I'm going to custom build for him I have access to a 7000sq foot woodworking shop so I have all the stuff I need to make it. I was going to go with a sealed box cause it's all I have ever made and we both like the sound we get. With me I have a saturn vue in it is a 12 inch dual with 125 rms and a rockford fosgate 100 rms so it's been set to the amp output and it's in a sealed box and it makes everything shake in my car and his car isn't much big so that why we were going to go with a seal but if you all think ported would be better I can look into it.
