Hey forum. I have 2 l7t 12 behind my seat at the moment in a 2020 tacoma, not enough room for a port. I am thinking about trying my hand at fiberglass and switching it up. Subs and amp would be moved to my worktruck. After days of looking for power vs box size vs mounting depth, the nastiest setup i could find is 6 hertz mille legend 8's with a warhorse amp (should come in at 1.3 ohm). I have approx 0.5ft for each driver- 2ft behind the seat for 4, and 1ft in the underseat compartment. The box size on these are 0.3-0.6 per driver once again, mounting depth and box size is key. i only have 5" if i get away from mdf and go fiberglass under the rear seats, and a little more relaxed at 6" behind the rear seat. probably go with 9x8" radiators- 3 for the 2 in the lower box with 2 drivers, 6 in the back box with 4 drivers... Both boxes exceed 45" long, so i Can put 5 8"cones wide and still keep the back seats biggest issue is price. I dont mind going this route, but just looking to see if anybody has suggestions to bring the cost down by a grand or 2. Those subs ain't cheap!
