Also when it comes to your amps you should be a little more open with your choices....alpine make good amps but for the price of the alpine m1001 you could get two Hifonics 1500 watt amps which are amazing in my opinion. I had 6 12" type r's and had 3 hifonics 1500 (1 amp for every two subs) and it pounded! So im sure 4 type r's with 2 amps will pound too...not to mention good SQ. .....Not trying to change your mind, just throwing in some suggestions.</p></blockquote><p></p>
