Can you adjust the rms settings on most 4 channel amps? Questing being that I curretly have Kenwood KFC-x680 6x8 145x204 2 WAY 280 WATT Speakers rated at 2-56 rms. Was looking to place a set of components in the front doors "06 Mustang", and been looking at ones rated up and over 100 rms. Does it make sense to put a higher rms speaker up front, and if so can a higher rated amp be staged down to also run the rears at 56-60 rms safely? Or would I adjust the gain to compensate for the lower rms rated speakers in the rear? Thanks
