i have a four channel amp pushing my polk audio door speakers. i just ran a new 2 gauge wire to push my fi btl. after i got done hooking up the 2 gauge i put an old 4,000 watt amp and a couple 12s in my back to listen to it and when i would turn my volume up past like 20 the 2 channel amp would power down then come back on then power down etc. so i figured it was just starving for power and once i unhooked the 4,000 watt amp it would be fine, but even with no power going to the 2 gauge wire, it still will power off at a higher volume. (even tried another 4 channel amp with the same results). Any ideas?
