First off I am in the Army and currently deployed to Iraq on my 3rd tour. As my first was Afghanistan on ARP04-APR05, then Iraq Aug06-Nov07 and now in iraq since Jan09-supposedly Jan2010. I am a republican. And bush may have ****ed up on some things but targeting he did well. We will have never lost men and women for nothing. I am An Infantryman, and been in firefights in both Iraq and Afghanistan. This is the job we signed up for. Can anyone here truely tell me why we are in Iraq?? I have been on many raids and searches, and its not as easy as hunting them down and killing them. One you have to have good intel. Two you have to have the proper leadership. And for the people talking about the rules of engagement. What do you know about it? As i have a card i have to carry on me that has it. It also says i have to follow the Geneva Conventions rules also. If your wondering thats part of NATO. Dont say your disappointed about Obama sending in more troops as for me My job is only done at a time of war. When there isnt one the democrats downsize the military and then your stuck with half the man power that cant get the job done cause some one wants to save money.
