Can I convert a 2ohm sub to a 4ohm sub or visa versa with just wiring. I have 2 4ohm subs and 1 2 ohm subs. Both are Alpine Type Rs and both are dual voice coil. I'm wanting to run them all on the same series circuit. I'm wanting to wire all 3 to 1 amp. Is there any form of wiring I can do to make all the subs on the same ohm? I hear the 2ohm sub will usually draw more current. But is there any formation of wiring that can be done to make this somewhat stable? I won't be competing with this so the largest amount of power won't be going through them... Also I'm wanting to wire the subs in a series wiring. If I bang parallel for hours it'll make my amp over heat - so I try to stick with a series wiring.
