I am going to have to slap several more layers of sound deadener in the trunk because its just too annoying when i turn it up. Inside the car sounds good, but the moment i step out you can hear the rattling big time. Also need to figure out how to fix my rear-view mirror, its causing a bad interior rattle also. On a side note, i need to find out how to get this system to hit harder. When i did the tuning on my amp i used my DMM. My amp is 1500w across the board, but the sub is 1k rms and 2k max. I tuned using the amp at 1k x 2ohm and square rooted that. Set my freq on between 60-80, think right about 44.7 was the voltage, so i went to 43.5 just under. I also tuned with the sub on volume 4 of 6 with my radio volume at 24/40. Anything above 24 and the factory speakers just sound like garbage. I also has the punch thing turned all the way down so the remote knob is kind of useless at the moment. I must admit though, the time and effort into the system, and of course the money, id really have thought this would have hit a lot harder. Ill try alternative songs another day though. Any advice on easily getting this to hit harder and really pound? Would adjusting my voltage up to 1500 instead of 1k make a big different? Would making any other changes like the freq. etc make it louder? How bout the punch settings?>
