I just installed 2 amplifiers and a capacitor to power a sub and 4 speakers. I keep getting a high pitch sound coming through the speakers when I accelerate my car. This sound is usually due to a bad ground, but I was told by the installers that it's due to the battery being so close to my amps and everything else (the car battery's in the trunk where the spare tire is). I don't notice this noise if I plug in an ipod, just when the radio's on. A grounding kit is already installed and it didn't fix the problem. Is there some type of insulation I can put between the battery and everything else that causes this? Any other suggestions? Please help!
