I have a 2005 Silverado with a Bose Stereo system that includes XM and OnStar. Original intent was to install an iPod port through the XM function of my stereo using a method found on a different site. My first mistake was just cutting the wires about 1/4" from the wiring harness. This cut all power to my stereo, but then I figured out how to remove the wiring harness so at least that is done. So right now I have no power to my stereo and I cannot find any info on how to reassemble my wiring harness in a working order. I am also trying to use a 3.5mm jack i purchased at radio shack that has 5 prongs instead of 3, but don't know if that is possible from this harness. Any help would be graciously accepted.
