I have two Diamond Audio D3 12" woofers installed and a Kenwood 1800 watt class D mono amp for the power. I also just installed a TKO 1.5 Digital cap to help with the power. My problem is after 10 minutes of use the subs will dim low, and maybe a 1 minute or 2 they will come back louder than ever. Yesterday did a little lookin under the hood and noticed the tensioner for the belt was shot, so I replaced that and my belt is tighter than ever and hopeful of it fixing the issue. Well that is a big NEG. My cap doesn't get any lower than 13 volts and idles at 14.2. It has the stock alternator due to apparently there is a HUGE difference from the 03 to 04 models and they aren't out yet even 4 years later. The battery is stock but still reading out perfectly. I haven't done the big 3 simply because I really have no idea what I need to do it. I had all this in 2003 cavalier and never did this with stock alt and batt, and this has a bigger amp alternator then the cavalier. The stock Grand prix alternator is 125 amps btw. Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Brandon
yo yo! Its my first post and glad I found a forum like this! Anyways I own a 2004 grand prix GT. Brandon
