I will be pushing one freshly re-coned DD 9515 in a 4.2 cuft box. It will be in a 98 ***** Am and I have 1/0 power wire to the back. I have never built a system with this much power before and I am wondering if an extra battery in the back is in order for this build. I ran the 1200.1 off of stock electical and it worked ok for me, but adding the 700.4 gets me thinking. I don't know what my alt puts out, but I thought that Pontiac put some pretty good alts in those cars, maybe 100 amps or so. I can probably measure it tomorrow if it would make a difference. So, do I need a extra battery or not?</p></blockquote><p></p>
