[QUOTE="log123, post: 3192942, member: 578980"] ok so ive got two problems but i think that they are probably from the same source. i just dont know what that source is... first off i have 4 infinity 6x9s ran by a profile amp and a kenwood excelon HU. oh and i just bought and installed the kenwood HU but had the same problems when my ancient pioneer HU was in there. ok when the radio kicks on i get a thump through the speakers. it happens when i do other things too, like change tracks on a cd etc. i have tried grounding the HU in a different place and i tried grounding the amp in a different place. neither worked. i even tried running the constant and switchable power wires to different places. that didnt help either. i have junk rca cables right now i dont know if that matters at all though. thats the first problem the second problem is whenever i hit the breaks, turn on my headlights, hit the bright lights, basically when i do anything with any electrical stuff in the car. the stereo cuts out for a split second and its getting really annoying. sometimes ill be sitting completely stopped at a stoplight and the radio will be playing fine and then cut out for a second. any help at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
