Well im getting my 2 10" DD 3500d series in sometime next week and ill be ordering my Hifonics Brutus BX1605D (1600 x 1 @ 1 ohm) amp sometime soon also. This is going in my 03 F-150 Regular Cab in about a 3.5-4.0 cu. ft. box. Its getting built by a real professional and a record holder for design and stuff that works for DD and works with TC Sounds and JL and stuff. I was wondering how this would sound? I heard it will hit pretty hard and i heard just 1 on these 10's on 500 watts and it was crazy loud! Just wondering what you guys think and need some opinions on how this will sound. I hope it will rock my world haha! Thanks guys

swap that hifonics for something that actually does 1600w...
good luck in that price range of the hifonics, even if it only pushed 1200w it would be worth the cost, even thought the 1500d is much cheaper and is only rated 100w lower and i believe it has been tested to do 1200w.

I dont have they money. These DD's can take about 1200 watts a piece for daily easily and i dont have the money to shell out for a good amp that does around there. I know the Hifonics will do about 600-700 watts to each one which is ok considering im getting it for $235 on ikesound.com. If i find something else for around 250 or so thats better then i will get it but i def. dont want to feed them any less than that.

where can i find one of those. I might just need some help finding these things for the cheapest and just in general b/c i dont know most of these companies. So the Viper wont work?

Just found this bad boy! (didnt know who is was made by so i had to search some topics)

Thats a pretty good price. Are they a very good company or what? I just want to make suret this amp will be fine and not blow or go into protect or whatever. Think this will be fine to just run my dd's at 1.3 ohms?

So how many watts would i be feeding each sub at the 1 ohm for each sub?

By the way moe, thats the head unit im getting! How do you like it? I love it personally. Looks sweet too.

Try and find a JBL 1200.1 or a MTX 1501D on Ebay. They run about $250 shipped and that'll be a much better alternative to HiFonics amp you are considering.

With 500watts it'll be pretty loud, but with around 1000+ you would have more impact. I run a pair of 3512's in my truck, and I had 500watts to each sub at one time. It was loud, but the punch wasn't there. I'm running about 1200+ now, and its much nicer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

eh, idk...i will checkith

Well now im def. going to go with the Brutus 2005d (2000 x 1 @ 1 ohm). I know thats overrated but i think about 800-900 watts a piece is enough. What do you think? I mean this is a big amp and i think that it will make enough power for these.
