[QUOTE="brybry354, post: 5610122, member: 594419"] i already have my system correctly hooked up but i intend on switching out the subs for stronger ones and hooking them up to separate amps. when i hook up my new amp do i need to put a ground in it and hook it up to the 12v battery or will hooking up to just 1 amp be enough after i split the RCA cables? basically my question is...i already have a ground and power wire leading to the 12v battery on amp #1 do i need to put another ground and wire hooked up to the 12v battery on amp #2 as well or will the 1 ground and power cable to the 12v on amp #1 be sufficient?
