Message: <blockquote data-quote="CJW" data-source="post: 3435376" data-attributes="member: 568237">nah type-rs are decent.  They can get pretty loud in the right box and power.  They handle a good bit more than their rated power as well.Always select your amps to what your sub can handle.  RMS for both.Make sure to match the wattage at the specific ohm rating.  Like for example I believe the type-r comes in dual 4 and dual 2.  dual 2 can be wired to 1 ohm or 4 ohm.  dual 4 can be wired to 8 ohm or 2 ohm.  so you will want an amp that puts out the rms at the specific resistance.</blockquote>
