The pioneers would come alive in the 22-28 hz region but had no upper bass at all. The subs would distort if fed anything above 50 hz full tilt. So id decided to get American Bass XFL's along with 2 SQ Q1-2200.1 to enjoy higher quality bass. I was still really only expecting bang in the lower region. But these subs have a strong presence for the 28-60 hz region in this box. They really bang all around. I've only had them for 3 weeks but by now this is all i should be able to get out of them until i strap the second Q1-2200.1 on them. The amplifier has performed flawlessly to have not accommodated it with a huge battery like many other bassheads would. The amp stays cool unless im clipping heavy(for a long time). Another thing i've noticed is the amp will clip faster when lower notes are being fed to the speakers. So the subsonic has to be corrected in order to stop this. Im thinking that's probably only an issue for people wiring under 1 ohm in order to counter box rise. I'm very happy eith the performance of the system. The subs dont even get warm and the excursion is madness. I can't wait to strap the second amp and completely power the subwoofers to their full potential.

Here's a video of the system:

I'd appreciate if you would subscribe too.
Ok first off i want to list my system in full detail: Honda Civic 2006 DC Power 270XP alternator Optima Yellow Top under the hood Energie PB600 supercap in the rear Dynomat in the trunk up to the ceiling. But ceiling is not covered completely. Dynomat around the door holes. Alpine CDE-154bt head unit Audiopipe apsm 1200 4 channel amp for mid/highs Pioneer D series 6.5's for front stage Pioneer A series 6.5's for rear fill SoundQubed Q1-2200d for substage 2 American Bass XFL1222's 6 cu ft box tuned to 27 hZ before displacement Ok so i had the pioneer champion pros before these subs and audio pipe apcl1800 amp and i was expecting improvement but not in the area received. The pioneers would come alive in the 22-28 hz region but had no upper bass at all. The subs would distort if fed anything above 50 hz full tilt. Here's a video of the system: I'd appreciate if you would subscribe too. Thanks!!! If anyone has any power related ideas or different ideas for another box(i like low bass) chime in please. Or any ideas in general for improvement please let me know.
