Ok well I have had coventional boxes built (ported) with 3 12's and it sounds bad to me. So my last box I had built by a guy out here that said he knows how to get beat out of these cars. The box looked similar to the box setup of the guy who has a thread "oddly shaped box" except there was a port at the top that tunnelled to the port cut out in my rear dash. Now that box funkin HIT! But the only problem was he did not build the box good and it cracked on the corner. So I just had a guy shop take it apart. Oddly to find out the subs were firing towards the floor. So I asked the guy to rebuild my box the same way, but with the subs not firing into the floor. But the new installer told me that most of the box was useless and the only the part with the subs was what he was going to copy. So he built it with the subs firing up towards the port. So now I can see the subs to were before it was like a wall and could not see anything. Well anyways the system does not sound the same and im a lil dissapointed. You would think with logic it would be louder but to me its not. He said it wiill get deeper after he fine tunes it, and after he puts the seats back on.
