We will use 13v for an average just so we have something to work with. Both of these change dynamicly with the music but we can use these numbers to offer a guess using ohm's law. I=P/E or Current equals Power in watts divided by Electromotive force in volts. So you have 800w divided by our 13v average gives us 61.5 amp. At 800w of output a perfect amp ( 100% efficient ) would draw 61.5 amps of current. But you have to account for the efficiency of your amp in the equation. That's why I say this is only a guestimation. I hope helped a little //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Let's see first I hve no idea the size of your alternator. But it should have a sticker on it that says. If nothing else give your local autoparts store a call and ask the size of the oem replacement. Next question there are alot of variables involved in this. So I can only offer you an guestimation Lets see we know the wattage ( 800w ) and we know the voltage of your electrical system.
