I am installing a Kenwood H/U. The vehicle has a JBL premium sound system. I've been told I have to get a bypass harness. I did some ivestigating in the car. It seems the previous owner already had a aftermarket H/U intalled. When I got the car it was completely ripped out. There is an amplifier bypass harnes on the vehicle. I've read that I do not have to use the wires that are exposed. There is normally a square plug there.Though, this cable is attached to the rear bypass harness. It reads..Front L -, Front L +, and so on. So I know it's that cable. As you can see here...the gray cable and the harness are connected. There is another connecter under the dash board that's suppose to go to the speakers. I'm totally confused now. I went to purchase a wiring harness. There are 3 connecters in the package. 1 has the H/U wiring leads which connects to the plug in the first photo. The second connector goes to the gray wire that has the exposed the wires. And a 3rd. That I have no idea where it goes. Guessing it's one of these two. I'm now totally confused. Should I just connect them al?
