Usually I see people running 2 alts, one charges a 12v battery, and the other charges a bank of 16v batteries. Two completely separate systems. The audio side would mostly be on the 16v side. With the exception of some mids/highs amps that aren't rated at 16v or cannot handle it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
