Im not too clued up on audio but am learning . Right guys i have a phoenix gold 800.1 Ti already and im deciding between the two w7's. Ill have to run the 13 @ 1.5ohm so the amp will be pushing more power into it right? The 12 obviously has to run at 3ohms. The enclosure is going to be a sealed fiberglass one into the spare tyre well and im thinking i MIGHT be slightly under the space requirements if i go for the 13. The main questions i want to ask is: Will the slightly undersized enclosure for the 13 mean it will still be a better choice than a recommended sized 12? Will the 12 be damaged ? Someone suggested i use 'wadding' if it is undersized . Will the fact the amp is running at 3 ohms for the 12w7 mean less power and it will perform lesser than the 13? Just to give you a guys on the crazy prices on this stuff over here. Retail: 12w7 ~ 1200 dollars. 13w7 ~ 1550 dollars. it was more but prices have droped a little bit in the last few months
