Ok, all of my wiring is now done. Amps are in. I have my 12" JL's in a sealed box temporarily until I can figure out which route to go next. So... with about 1000 watts (spec sheet says 1250) And about 3.5cu ft of space. Figure tune to 30hz What subs, how many, what size? 1 good 12? (would get the full 1000 watts) 2 decent 12's? (would split 1000 watts) 1 15? (would get the full 1000 watts) 3 10's? (would split the 1000 watts) Looking for SQL. Daily driver. Listen to mostly rap, with some Metallica/Pantera thrown in from time to time. I am more looking at what size and how many I should do and try to stay within $400. I do prefer a smaller box too. 3.5cu ft is my max, but would prefer smaller. Also, I am looking for "NEW" subs. Do not want to buy used. So with the price...consider what they can be had for from an online dealer. I am not partial on any one brand. So post them up and I will go research their site!
