Um, the 5.0L pretty much ate up the Camaro/Firebird competition until the last gen F-bodies cam out. Now, granted the newer Camaros and Birds were a much better platform and more powerful than the Mustangs, but the Mustangs still dominated sales and aftermarket. I don't know why the F-bodies didn't sell well. Awesome package IMO. As for the driving comment, every group has their idiots. I don't know why you say power is wasted. Some people just like to have enough power to fry the tires whenever they want, some want to race, some want to show. You cannot simply single it out to Mustangs. As for the manual comment, why would I want an Auto? As for the 4.6 comment, hmm, I can spend $700 on a nitrous kit and have an easy 450HP. . . The 5.0 OHV has more displacement, yet isn't anywhere near as efficient as the 4.6, even the SOHC motors. I could go on with this. Really. You're making comments, but you should better educate yourself on the subject. The Mustang has not gotten it's place in history for no reason. It has not been a leader in the aftermarket and racing bodies for years for no reason. Think about it.
