I'm selling this amp for a friend. It was tested today and works 100%. Its in like new cosmetic shape (pics were taken this morning). This amp is used by many SPL competitors as their wattage to footprint ratio is one of the best and it generates minimal heat. This amp has never been taken apart or repaired (the picture of the internals I found on a website). the msrp on this unit is $800 but we all know no one pays these prices (but isn't it nice to know?). Boys and girls this amp throws out more usable wattage in a smaller package than a 1000/1 kicker 1200.1 JBL 1201.1 period. these are the ratings: 1 x 400 Watts RMS @ 4 Ohms 1 x 750 Watts RMS @ 2 Ohms 1 x 1200 Watts RMS @ 1 Ohm Fuse: 3 x 30A Dimensions: 13.78"L x 11.66"W x 2.37"H Glass Epoxy PCB Circuit Protection Platinum Connectors and Terminals LPF: 50Hz - 250Hz however I've read on many car audio forums that these produce more than their rated wattage on the bench. a 13 volt test showed 1,600 watts! remember these are not bloated max rating. rms stands for root mean square and is the preferred method for deriving continuous wattage. The connections are really nice and are some of the best I've dealt with. no annoying plugs, tiny screwdrivers, or allen keys. They are all solid SS philips flat heads with acrylic blocks. the amp has 4 awg inputs and a good charging system with 4 awg is recommended. The amp is over 80% efficient (class d) so it will put out more wattage than a standard class a/b amp for every ampere it draws from the car. another nice feature of this amp is that all the gains, x-over, and phase switch are adjustable by hand! very few amps have this and it makes tuning a breeze. there is a video of you tube of someone using the 'baby' 800 watt version of this amp; check it out: current selling price: http://www.c4carclub.com/board/viewtopic.php?p=18857&sid=5f04071e2485b3b878ca9daaa12d3f2c I think its neat to see the internals. check out the massive toroidal transformers and low esr Capacitor bank! I like the brushed aluminum top. 300 to your door fully insured UPS. i also have it up on ebay but if anyone here wants it let me know and I'll cancel the auction.
