Thanks for the response, I couldn't get it figured out, and with a vacation road trip looming, I took it in to a local shop. They proceeded to tell me the bose adapter was bad, couldn't warranty the item, and instead sold me one of their adapters for $250. I was pretty pissed, but in a crunch, so I said ok. After they worked on it for 2 days, I got the Tahoe back just in time to pack up the three kids, and hit the road. We gave the kids the wireless headphones to watch a movie on the overhead. Didn't work. Steering wheel controls that they supposedly fixed were only working on "tuner" mode. The back up sensors weren't working anymore either. Needless to say I was extremely pissed now. I called the shop, and they said they couldn't fix it for a week. (I'm fuming just typing this) So, I located and purchased an entirely new PAC adapter, took the car home, unloaded the kids, and tore in to the installation. While I was in there, I found a handful of "nipped" wires and potential shorts. I got those repaired, and completely re-installed the new adapter. Turned on the car, and everything was working perfectly. Knock on wood, but it's been a week and all the sensors work, headphones work, steering wheel controls work perfect, no more random shut-offs of the unit. Life is good again. The only complaint is the blinker sounds aren't loud enough, but who cares. Of course the installation shop isn't taking any of the blame and saying I screwed something up, yada yada. They wouldn't return the adapter they installed, said the best they could do is exchange it for a new one. Simply a bunch of horse manure. They are a reputable shop around here too, and have horrible service. I surely learned not to trust anyone but myself. Through this all, I now feel like I am an 07' Tahoe specialist.
