[QUOTE="m48xhp, post: 1732379, member: 566224"] i dont know what it is tuned to. i looked in the book that came with it and could not find it. and i dont know how to measure it. i do know what out of phase is. if i didnt i would not have said that. they did not look to be moving the other way, but it seemed to make two different sounds simultaneously on some beats. but that may not be it. i dont expect it to have good sq, but it jut sounds very different in my car as in other cars ive heard the new L5s in. as for more juice, its too late now. but i figured this would be plenty. also, i have the gains set close to half way. i have a pioneer 860 with 6.5v preouts. i cannot really hear the subs distorting any but im afraid to turn it up any higher. and the other installer that messed with the gains, set it back to there. could it go higher safely, and could i put the eq boost higher also (about 70% up)? i do know that some subs just need some breaking in. i know the eclipses we have on the floor took a long time but know sound great.
