a friend of mine's coworker told me that he went to see how much it'll cost to install a headunit in his 04 pontiac grand am. well he told me that the shop told him that he has to get some kind of converter for the aftermarket headunit and that thing costs 100 bucks. i've never heard of anything like that before. but then again i've never worked on a pontiac. so if anyone out there with a grand am. do you need some kind of converter? or is it the same as other headunits, just connect wiring harness and your good to go? thanks
