Hey, I'm completely new to car audio and was all set to go get a new deck today. I went to BestBuy to pick up this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7675615&type=product&productCategoryId=cat03066&id=1134702498241 Obviously I needed the mounting kit for the car, about $20, no problem. The guy that was helping me told me that I also needed a $20 harness, again no problem. He then came back 10 minutes later and told me that the 03 and later Silverado's required a special $120 harness so that installing the new unit would not keep the power locks and dome lights from working. Is this the case? And if it is, can I get them cheaper somewhere else? Please let me know if you need any more information. Thanks!
