Thanks for the insight. Yes, if I take off at higher RPMs the radio stays on. However, the alternator and starter guys consistently tell me that the alternator is good. Any other thoughts? Thanks.

The sound to all speakers (and subs) cuts out completely when I begin to take off from traffic lights (due to the slight dip in RPMs to below the idle level - car is a 5-speed). The power to the radio stays on though. This happens regardless of how low the stereo is turned down. Note, it only...
