I had an alarm installed there about 3 years ago, still works. No complaints from me! Only been there once for that, can't say how they do with custom system installs.

you should be able to tell if it's separated, just feel with your fingers right at the edge of the surround. if any of it feels loose or the surround moves, it has come unglued. Should be pretty obvious if it is unglued or not when you actually check the surround. ca glue is cyanoacrylite, or...

well, feel the surround where it glues to the cone and see if any of it is separated. then if it is use some ca glue to fix it.

Check the surround. Part of it may have come unglued. Mine did that and it sounded almost like the fluttering you are describing.
