You think I should be putting that much money into the amp? I know of plenty of subs that cost well under a $100

I have a 1986 Camaro which is a hatch back with a dip/well were I want to put two 12" or 10" subs and I also need an amp to power them. I'm want mainly quality first, quanitity second and want to spend under $400 for the two subs and amp which I know may be difficult. I have a pioneer headunit...
