i just bought these and they were in a pt cruiser.... i watched them hit a 153.7 at a clap show.... they are the same 10's that were in the a. gates kicker bronco.... the appear to look like l5's but the magnet on the back tells a much different story...... these subs ahve to weigh 60 lbs...

at the moment i have one kicker 12, ported.... blew the sub.... from a buddy i can purchase one new 12 and he wil replace my blown one, or i can get something else.... i have an amp thats 1800 watts rms at 1 ohm, so i can send 1800 watts to 2 ported l7 12's or one of the two 15's...... and im...

i just got this amp off my bestfriend.............. he got the amp in his car when he bought it, it was pushing one 12...... pretty nice i might add......well i got the amp off him (for the amazing price of lunch) but i was wondering if i could use this amp as a mids/highs amp??????????????????

will i be able to hit in the 140's with a 15 and 1800 watts assuming box is properly built and such

i destroyed a kicker 12l7, in a spec built spl box cant remeber the specs but it was like 3.5cuft tuned to thier recomendatoin, it absolutely slammed, never got to get it spl'd but it was pretty nasty, but it blew after two weeks of use, but i was sending 1200 watts to it........ ssf and all...

just as title states, 1800 watts @ 1 ohm, box size around 3-3.5 cuft prefered, ported of course, i just want the most spl setup i can have, i had a kicker 15l7 and blew fried it, i was only sending 1200 watts to it also.... ive been reading a lot, just cant get a clear answer,

sub to be in box approxametly 3.5 cuft ported, and will receive 1800 watts... im tired of turning down my amp, and blowing subs and crap.... i just want a bad sub, that will take the power, and slam..... im hoping to reach the mid 140's db wise
