Which would be better for the money for 1 swr-1041d in a sealed box? looking for sound quality.

I think I'll go with 1 sub the swr-1041d in a sealed box and the mrd-m301 amp. Not much room in my crew cab behind the seat. I've only seen one box made for this truck though from proboxrocks. is it any good?

Are there kits to raise the seat?

ighetto, Yes the type R, other recommendations? these are going into a chevy crew cab so I dont have a lot of room maybe 6-7 inch depth max.

I installed the GMCHIME interface for my 04 Silverado to accept an Alpine cda-9833 hu and it all works except for the delayed locking of my doors. It is suppose to chime 3 times when you hit the door locks and then lock after about 10 seconds, but it starts chiming and doesnt stop unless you put...

I bought the Alpine CDA-9833. It sounds great. Any suggestions on what speakers to use that would fit into the stock holes in the doors? Also, where do most people put the infrared sender for the new steering wheel remote unit(PAC SWI-X) and the new chime? Thanks in advance

No amp and am now thinking of the CDA-9831 front... SPS-171A Rear... SPS-170A Maybe later a MRD-M301 but do not know which mono sub speaker to use that will fit under my rear seat. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Thinking of a new system. Alpine CDA-9830 and speakers, either Alpine SPS-171A or Alpine SPR-176A or Boston Acoustic FS60. Good idea or not and which speakers would be the best? Also what happens to the steering wheel controls for the stereo?
