I got to work by connecting the remote wire to the "Turn On" wire (according to Pioneer)...thanks to the advice of ss2279 (something like that)...

this might sound stupid...but i thought there was only one remote wire connection on my head unit and on my amp.

nope it was an open-boxed item. (60 bucks).

There's still paint on the screw so I guess that could contribute to the problem. and probably the remote connection could be the other, but it's still connected is all i'm saying about that one. Anyways, thanks for your help.

Yes, the RCA's are still connected. Power and Ground connections should be OK. The remote turn on wire that is attached to my head unit looks like a plug and the one from the wiring kit is just a wire. It's probably not the best connection right now, but I'm pretty sure that will work.

I got a piece of crap amp (got if for cheap) Lightning Audio Bolt 200.2 amp hooked up to 2 RF Punch 10" subs.. I have the Pionner DEH-6400 head unit ..... When I hooked everything up...the amp and subs don't work. the head unit did recognize that i have subs because it let me change my rear...
