cool man, I havent deadened anything... I know I'll have to.. right now im running it off a LOC (which is ****), and just have the gain on low to let the sub break in. I figure its enough to satisfy me for now until the summer when im out of school and have cash flow to get working on the car...

box is done for now until I have more time to get the cosmetics done... which Ill do in the spring. terminals in full box minus the flush mount which will be finished later also found an old mtx amp that I plan to use to power components... anyone know anything about these??

PL, its contractor strength glue. the brace in the middle is 2.25" dowel clarion unit came in today... i messed up and havent ordered the schosche kit or wiring harness yet. will do more pics as more work is completed.

alright more work done.. flush mount jigged test fitting sub now that everything is all glued inside flush mount on.. everything fitting nice just need to do some final sanding and route the outside egdes going to do the flush in a high gloss black and wrap the rest of the box in 3m CF...

for the flush mount did you route the port opening?

just finished installing the last 45's and glued the port wall and front down. had to notch out one of the 45's nearest the sub as it would have interfered with the t-nut. going to be popping on the top and then shes ready to go for now.

pretty much finished it tonight. took the router and rounded the edges on the port walls. got the bracing/front/port wall all glued together and clamped... day off school tomorrow so ill be finishing her up. just need to order speaker terminals and shes ready for winter (not gonna wrap it or...

either or... either way i have to fill all the cracks so it really makes no difference to me. ill use whatever is optimal cant finish it today, still need to get the speaker terminals. will be done this week tho for sure.

t nuts installed... put a little PL under them just so that they dont budge ever. 8 t-nuts, then #10x32x1" bolts. gotta the sub in and test fitted...everythings perfect! just a couple more steps and shes ready for some winter beating. still need to glue front wall down/portwall and bracing...

thanks. still gotta get the bracing on and the top...then i think im going to run it unfinished like this until the spring. then ill get the flush mount going and put a finish on the box. just unsure of how i want to finish it right now. heading to hd to get t nuts

well... snowday tomorrow and I decided tonight was the night to get some work done. Tired of waiting to get a circle cutter for the router, so I busted out the jigsaw. never used one before...did 2 practice cuts on spare wood and then did the real deal. turned out perfect. then i sanded her...
