I recently installed a Jvc avx44, but while shopping around I realised Nakamichi were exorbitantly priced. Any reason why so expensive and is the price justified in any way ?

I'm using a pair of focal polglass comps, 165 v2, in one of my cars and they sound awesome. I also have tried DLS reference and they are pretty good and suitable for all kinds of music. The focals are very clear for the fusion / ethnic kind of music I listen to. They made a huge difference...

He wants quality but more output i guess, listens to hip hop all the time, maybe rock once in a while. The car's a suzuki swift, 2004 model.

Hello , My brothers got a '04 suzuki swift, got a jvc HU, dont know the model (1-DIN with dvd playback) ,6.5" co-axial infinity kappa in the front and 6x9 infinity reference in the rear. He now wants to add a sub and amp. Listens mostly to hip-hop. What are the options for $450-$500 ? Thanks
