so i checked everything out starting with removing the door panel, nothing weird. checked out the mess behind the hu and ended up re-crimping all the wires together, and then taping it all up with electric tape. i feel victorious:D no, im gna go to subway, order a jalepeno chedder bread, BLT...

one speaker whines........ never touched it. could it be that a wire running (to another speaker) from the hu thru the dash, door, and to the speaker be the source of my whine? if so, how to i get rid of it or insulate? also have an amp running to subs, ground and power on one side, rca on...

Well, the speaker is 1 of 6 factory ones. Non amplified. Never even opened up the door panel on this one. I did however move my RCA to my amp for my subs on the opposite side of the car to no avail. Also, about a week ago I hotwired one speaker to another, (not the one that's whining).

finally out of this hellhole

So one of my 6 speakers is whining. No music playing, I noticed when I gas it, the whine grows. I've never touched the speaker, never changed any of the wiring in it at all. Pointers?
