[HELP!] Different volume/quality of sound from left/right speakers.

Havent got to check the crossovers yet, but if thats all it is.. then Wow. Those speakers can withhold some beating! Components: Trio RSX 5.7c 5x7 Inch 100W RMS. Tweeters: Interfire's(clearly not that good, have had only problems with them since i got them) Trio speakers, check them out if...

[HELP!] Different volume/quality of sound from left/right speakers.

OP here I think it is going to turn out to be the high passive cross over. This all happened after a good couple of sounds with a lot of mid bass. So i think either the cross over got fried(from having to filter alot?) or the bass disturbed the wiring. Will check back with results

[HELP!] Different volume/quality of sound from left/right speakers.

The two resistances that didnt match(4.6, 0.8) where from the speaker wire leads that were at the amp. The reistances at the actual speakers are fine. I redid all my connections and it persist. It isnt noticeable with a little balance at lower volumes.

[HELP!] Different volume/quality of sound from left/right speakers.

The resistances tested out fine. Even the tweeters on the woofers were tested.

[HELP!] Different volume/quality of sound from left/right speakers.

My left side speaker/tweeter are playing louder better quality sound than my right. Set-up; Tweeters in pillars, coax's in front doors (Both 4ohm's) Ok so i was playing music the other day pretty loud for a while when my amp cut out(seemingly due to overheating) for a brief moment and when it...

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

I finally got it working with no popping or whine! What I finally did was actually restore my headunits ground to the factory harness ground. Second, on my ground loop isolator it had 2 grounding wires with the two rca outs. I had these connected to my amp ground terminal. I disconnected...

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

I have tried a Ground loop isolator. It seemed to help but the problem still there. I might have it set up wrong, its on the amp side of the rca's and has two 'ground' wires that i have both running to the amp ground terminal. Today i took both the subwoofer and speaker rcas out of the head...

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

New rcas made it a tiny bit better but still prevalent. Taking the rcas out from the hu side makes it a little better as well

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

I might have been misled earlier, but the popping does go up with the rpms. I guess i just need to try a different amp.

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

Does anyone have any experience replacing/fixing the pico fuse on DOUBLE DIN / AVH models specifically? All the online guides are for the single din models that I can find. As I said above I sit here with my disassembled head unit only to not be ale to find a pico fuse As well my rca outs...

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

I tested the rca to iPod and there is no noise with the engine running. So that must mean it's the rcas or headunit. I have already disassembled my pioneer double din only to not be able to find either of the pico fuses. I looked all around the circuitry and found no FUxxx labeled spots, just a...

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

Thanks for all the replies! I am going to go to Walmart and see if they have the rca to aux cord. I know it's not a great amp, I got it from Craigslist for 30$ and my intentions were to use it until I can get a good one, so i already have the wires ran so its a simple drop in.

Absolutely cannot get engine noise and altenator whine to stop[SNAP-CRACKLE-POP]

I assume you mean the tweeters. They are hooked up with the front speakers on a 4channel amp 400watts American legacy. The rcas are from a typical amp install kit that cost 30$ And the rcas are through center console, power down passenger side. However upon getting in there I see that the car...
