I read elsewhere that a bad ground could cause the fuse to blow. The only way for me to turn off the amp w/out unhooking it from the car battery was to remove the ground. I did notice several sparks coming from the ground when I did this, so hopefully this is what happened.

No, I have not. How would I check them. What would I look for?

Last night I purchased a volfenhagen amp. I installed everything and it was working like a charm. I drove to work this morning and it was working great. I did have to ground the amp without a power switch, so this might be the cause of my problem. I got in my car after work, and there is no...
