ive got an o5 silverado and im keeping the stock hu but i need to know a good place to tap in my remote wire.thanks for any help

does anyone know the color of the remote wire on a05 silverado.i need to hook my amp up to it

thanks i was just making sure to get this right before i started

yeah im going to hook up a line converter to my stock hu to run a amp for 4 new door speakers.but my question is do i cut my wires and put the converter on then run the rca to amp then new speaker wire to speakers and just abandon old speaker wire or is there another way.thanks for any help
